Join M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Food section, where you'll be at the frontline of the UK's fastest growing retailer.

We're seeking passionate individuals who not only take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products but are also ready to roll their sleeves up and go again, day in and day out, meeting strong customer demand head-on.

  • Work Pattern
  • Week 1: Sunday 10:00 - 16:00; Saturday 12:00 - 18:00
  • Week 2: Sunday 06:00 - 14:00; Saturday 14:00 - 20:00

Responsibilities

  • Be a frontline Customer Assistant in the Food section, delivering service at pace and supporting product availability to meet customer demand.
  • Act as a resilient brand ambassador who confidently recommends and sells new food products to customers.
  • Utilize digital tools (such as the Sparks App and in-store devices) to enhance the customer experience and ensure customers get the products they want when they need them.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy environment by being a strong team player who supports colleagues in delivering a seamless customer experience.
  • Be flexible to work across various store areas and adapt to changing retail demands; no two shifts will look the same.
  • Operate effectively in a high-pressure environment, staying sharp, fast, and focused during peak times.
