We expect our support teams to come into the office three days a week, learning by working alongside each other to solve problems, build trust and stay close to customers. We are open to Advanced and Entry Level Assistant Merchandiser applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of budgeting, promotional and clearance markdown, in-season trading and exit decisions, as well as intake and volume planning.
  • Manage ongoing stock planning.
  • Provide reporting on supplier performance against KPIs.
  • Manage promotional and clearance markdown.
  • Manage in-season and exit trading.
  • Coordinate stock allocation to stores.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience at least at Assistant Merchandiser level at a major retailer.
  • Passionate about M&S and the womenswear product range, confident initiating trading actions.
  • Technical knowledge of the end‑to‑end buy‑to‑store process.
  • Experience using the relevant IT support systems.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with Design, Buying and Technology.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
