At M&S Food, our in-store experience plays a big part in how customers see our value, quality and relevance. As Assistant Marketing Manager - Store Operations, you'll help deliver clear, engaging and accurate in-store communications across regular trading, events, store-specific activity and Food Transformation plans. Working closely with stores, agencies and supplier partners, you'll support the delivery of POS and customer experiences that land right first time and make it easier for colleagues to bring plans to life. We're looking for someone organised, creative and collaborative, with a good understanding of food retail, store operations and agency/supplier management.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Support the delivery of in-store POS and communications across regular trading, event creative and store-specific activity.
  • Work with stores, Retail, Marketing and supplier partners to make sure plans are accurate, clear and delivered right first time.
  • Manage changing priorities with pace and agility, keeping activity moving and supporting clear communication to stores.
  • Bring creative direction and a continuous improvement attitude to help improve processes and the customer experience.
  • Support budget awareness, renewals and project activity that enhances the in-store experience throughout the year.

  • Confident influencing different partners, handling detail and staying calm when plans change quickly.
