We\’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Designer with experience in knitwear to join our Menswear Knitwear team. In this role, you\’ll support the design team in delivering timely and commercially relevant collections. Key responsibilities include trend and market research, creating clear visual presentations, assisting in fit sessions, and supporting the product development process from concept to final sample. A strong understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, and techniques is essential. This is a great opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced design environment.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you\’ll do

  • Work alongside the JD / Designer to deliver the global product direction
  • Work with the Designers to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs, at the right time
  • Create CADs using Photoshop / Illustrator in order to show true representation of product for range reviews and PLM tech packs
  • Support the Designer to deliver Design Briefs to Indirect Suppliers when required
  • Support the Designer on producing a high standard of Tech pack and hit rate on Direct

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strong design and CAD skills with an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of trend interpretation, current competitive marketplace, and product design
  • Experience in briefing and specifying direct design sourced product, working with Technology/Design and Buying to create high standards of Tech Packs.
  • High level of proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD.
  • Multitask orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the Design and Buying critical path
