As an AI Product Manager in the AI Accelerator, you will play a pivotal role in turning the potential of AI into real, scalable value for Marks & Spencer. You will work at the intersection of business, technology and delivery to identify, prioritise and shape AI‑enabled products that measurably improve customer and colleague experiences. You will lead discovery, experimentation and delivery, ensuring AI solutions are grounded in real problems, designed for adoption, and embedded into everyday ways of working. You will balance pace, learning and rigour to deliver commercial and operational outcomes across M&S.
Who You Are
- An experienced product manager with a strong track record of shaping and delivering (ideally AI‑enabled) digital products that create measurable commercial and operational impact.
- Comfortable leading discovery and experimentation in ambiguous problem spaces, particularly where AI (including GenAI, agentic AI and automation) is part of the solution.
- A proactive self‑starter who spots high‑value opportunities, drives innovation, and is motivated by delivering outcomes rather than outputs.
- Confident engaging, influencing, and communicating with senior stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear business value.
- Passionate about the evolution of AI and emerging technologies, with sound judgement on where AI genuinely adds value and where it does not.
What You Will Do
- Identify, frame and prioritise high‑impact opportunities where AI can deliver real business value, working closely with leaders across M&S.
- Lead the discovery, experimentation and delivery of AI products, rapidly testing hypotheses and scaling solutions that improve key business outcomes.
- Partner with AI engineers, data scientists, designers and delivery teams to shape AI solutions that are valuable, feasible, usable and ready to scale.
- Own the product lifecycle end to end – from problem definition and prioritisation through to launch, adoption and value realisation – with a strong bias for pace and learning.
- Work closely with adoption and change teams to ensure AI products are embedded into everyday ways of working, delivering sustained impact beyond pilots.
What's In It For You
- Being a part of M&S is exactly that – playing your part to bring the magic of M&S to our customers every day.
- We are an inclusive, dynamic, exciting, and ever‑evolving business built on doing the right thing and bringing exceptional quality, value, service to every customer, whenever, wherever and however they want to shop with us.
- After completing your probationary period, you’ll receive a 20% colleague discount across all M&S products and many of our third‑party brands for you and a member of your household.
- Competitive holiday entitlement with the potential to buy extra holiday days.
- Discretionary bonus schemes awarded based on how you achieve your personal objectives and our performance as a business.
- A generous Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and Life Assurance.
- A dedicated welcome to our teams with a tailored induction and a wide range of training programmes to develop your skills.
- Ample perks and discounts via our M&S Choices portal to maximise your financial and personal wellbeing.
- Industry‑leading parental, adoption and neonatal policies, providing support and flexibility for your family.
- Access to a fantastic range of wellbeing support for all colleagues, including 24/7 Virtual GP and PAM Assist.
- A charity volunteer day to support a charity or cause you're passionate about through a dedicated day away from work.
