We're looking for an AI Adoption Lead to partner directly with our BU teams and drive hands‑on AI adoption that delivers real, measurable value.
Working with tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Agents, you'll help teams move from awareness and access into confident, everyday use.
You'll be the trusted AI partner for your business unit, translating central AI capability into practical workflow change, coaching colleagues, building local champions, and telling the story of what's working.
If you're curious, hands‑on, love using AI yourself, and get energy from making change happen in the business, we'd love to hear from you.
Due to high interest, this role may close earlier than advertised.
All the details
What You'll do
- Act as the embedded AI adoption partner for an M&S business unit, building trusted relationships with BU leadership and operational teams and becoming the go‑to person for AI in the business
- Support the adoption of AI use cases end‑to‑end, from spotting the opportunity through to embedding into real workflows, including agentic AI opportunities using Copilot Studio, Agents and workflow automation
- Drive measurable value from AI, moving colleagues from awareness and access into confident, everyday use, and tracking adoption and value metrics for the business unit
- Coach colleagues to become confident, effective users of AI through role‑specific sessions, floor walks and drop‑ins, and bring AI to life through engaging comms, success stories and a network of local champions
- Feed business insight, pain points and use case demand back into the wider AI Accelerator to shape capability priorities, while making sure AI use stays within M&S’s Fair Usage, Responsible AI and Data Governance frameworks
Who you are
- Experience driving AI, digital or technology adoption in a business or operational environment, with hands‑on experience shaping and embedding use cases with business teams
- Strong working knowledge of M365 Copilot and how AI is used in real workflows, and curious and hands‑on with AI in your own work
- Confident working directly with business stakeholders from operational colleagues through to senior leaders, with strong communication skills that make AI practical, relevant and outcome‑focused
- Change management experience embedding new behaviours and ways of working, comfortable in ambiguity and able to make progress without a fixed playbook
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio, Agents or workflow automation tooling, awareness of AI Governance, Responsible AI and Fair Usage frameworks, experience building communities or champions networks, and retail or multi‑site business experience (all desirable)
