- Delivering key financial control, reconciliation and reporting activities across Property and Intercompany, ensuring transactions are accurate, complete and well-governed.
- Preparing and reviewing journals, accruals, prepayments and other accounting adjustments to support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and resolving outstanding items while providing meaningful commentary and insight.
- Partnering with internal and external customers, including Property teams, Intercompany partners and Finance colleagues, to solve problems and improve processes.
- Finding opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with strong Excel skills; experience of SAP, Black Line or Power BI would be an advantage.
- A good understanding of financial accounting principles, including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex data, investigate issues and draw clear conclusions.
- Confident business partner management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, able to manage several priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
