As the Customer Order Product Manager, you'll lead product management from research, product planning, build, launch and implementation of a sophisticated system with API‑based services across M&S selling channels and the enterprise. You'll work as part of a team and contribute to a wider programme, creating scalable APIs critical to our technology transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development for the domain team, building capabilities used across M&S.
  • Collaborate with M&S product, technology delivery, and engineering; contribute to programmes, refine roadmaps, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Translate business goals, user needs and technology transformation into a forward‑looking product roadmap, champion new opportunities across digital selling channels.
  • Prioritise the backlog, balance requirements, optimise existing features, reduce technical debt, and identify quick wins versus pivotal initiatives.
  • Lead business readiness for feature releases, working closely with all parties to communicate schedules and maintain operational health, reporting on agreed performance metrics.
  • Design and deliver strategies and roadmaps through product launch and optimisation; ideally with e‑commerce experience and API‑based products.
  • Apply an analytical and logical approach to problem solving and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Understand technology system interactions and key health metrics such as uptime and SLOs.
  • Deliver customer‑led outcomes in an Agile software environment.

  • Experience leading product teams through shaping vision, strategy and execution.
  • Strong understanding of API design and delivery; experience with e‑commerce APIs.
  • Proven track record in Agile development and delivering measurable business outcomes.
