What you\’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Create targeted audiences using SQL and PySpark with M&S customer datasets.
- Create real-time audiences in CRM platforms using real-time data.
- Ensure that campaign data specs and builds are delivered within our SLAs and best practice.
- Be able provide ad-hoc analysis on potential audience sizes for marketing stakeholders.
- Work with the Data Engineering and Data Product teams to identify and resolve any data/technical issues.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- Knowledge of customer data in marketing context, experience with Databricks is desirable
- Good understanding of retail market and the ability to react to fast-paced dynamic working environment quickly is desirable
- Understanding of documentation using Confluence and ticket management using Jira is desirable
- SFMC (or similar) Journey building experience is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for an Audience Developer to join our amazing CRM Operations team within the Online department at Marks & Spencer, one of the UK\’s leading retailers. In this dynamic role, you\’ll be at the heart of building multi-channel audiences that power personalised CRM campaigns across multiple M&S divisions. Using cutting-edge technology like BEAM (our data warehouse), mParticle (our Customer Data Platform), and real-time customer data, you\’ll help deepen our relationships with customers through highly relevant, tailored experiences.
You\’ll take ownership of audience creation and management across various platforms—ensuring data accuracy, timely delivery, and audience cleanliness every day. As the go-to expert in audience selection, you\’ll leverage your SQL and PySpark skills to advise stakeholders on the best attributes to meet their business goals.
