About the Role

This full‑time position is based in London, with a hybrid working model that allows up to 50% of the time to be spent remotely.

It is a 5‑day week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional flexibility to support US colleagues.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will assist with the full employee lifecycle, operational people activities, and ongoing projects across the global HR team.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be successful you will be an experienced HR Officer, Advisor or Administrator eager to grow your HR skill set.

You should thrive in a fast‑changing, international environment, ideally within technology.

Must be self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with people managers and senior leadership.

The role combines HR administration with exposure to, and responsibility for, certain HR processes and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the HR team to improve processes across all phases of the employment cycle.
  • Serve as the first line response for employee queries and document requests, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Provide HR support to people managers on a wide range of issues, including company policy, employment legislation, performance management, and disciplinary or grievance matters.
  • Manage the recruitment process: prepare job descriptions, post ads, and handle the interview process from start to finish.
  • Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding, including offer letters, contracts, vetting, leaver letters, and inductions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data in HR databases and systems throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Help ensure policies comply with applicable law and improve processes for the global business.
  • Advise on current and future employee visa and immigration matters in partnership with external advisers.
  • Provide support and cover to the HR Systems and Operations Lead.
  • Support critical projects such as annual appraisal, employee engagement survey, salary review, and other ad‑hoc initiatives.
  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers on people and HR matters.
  • Champion a continuous learning culture within the business.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Occasional travel to our UK offices may be required.
  • Key Requirements for the Position
  • Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or similar role across all disciplines (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).

UK experience is essential; US experience is a plus.

  • Experience developing HR processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Share Point.
  • Experience maintaining HRIS systems; familiarity with Hi Bob HRIS is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with a track record of ensuring completion of responsibilities.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to influence and persuade senior management through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Patience, empathy, and passion for supporting people.
  • Experience in a multi‑site professional services or technology environment is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a private‑equity‑backed or scale‑up organisation is advantageous.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) or working towards one is beneficial.
