ob Title: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Ipswich/Various Sites Desired Start Date: ASAP Hours: 07:30 – 16:00 Salary: Β£19–£23 per hour (DOE) + overtime (OTE Β£70,000+) Role Overview: We are looking for Commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients project team to work on major private and public projects based. This role requires someone who is a result orientated individual and is driven and motivated to participate in the growth and continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Ability to have a problem-solving approach, troubleshoot a job no matter its difficulties. Strong customer service and communication skills both verbal and written. Able to carry out commercial gas activities autonomously and as part of a team. Proven experience to prioritise, organise and effectively achieve deadlines. Ability to read technical diagrams. Strong Health and Safety values. Proven experience of working on commercial plumbing systems. Required Experience & Qualifications: Commercial gas qualifications At least 2 - 3+ years of experience working commercial heating systems. Current NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating. Ability to pass Enhanced DBS checks. Current Domestic & Commercial Gas qualifications – training refresher can be provided. Full clean manual UK driving licence – confidential chat if there are points. Must be willing to travel and stay away if required (with notice). Good communication skills are a necessity for this position. Committed and proactive attitude towards safety Desirable IPAF / PASMA qualification.
