About the Role: We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join our busy maintenance team based in Potters Bar . In this key role, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance works across a portfolio of residential properties. Youll act as a vital link between tenants, operatives, and management to ensure efficient service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Efficiently schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance jobs for operatives and contractors.
Liaise with tenants to arrange suitable appointments and keep them informed throughout the process.
Monitor and manage operative diaries to maximise productivity and reduce downtime.
Raise, allocate, and close work orders using internal systems.
Track and follow up on outstanding repairs, ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timeframes.
Work closely with the repairs management team to prioritise urgent works and ensure compliance with KPIs and service level agreements.
Provide administrative support and maintain accurate records.
Requirements: Previous experience in a planning/scheduling role within repairs, maintenance, social housing, or a similar fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
IT literate, with experience using repairs management systems (e.g. DRS, Orchard, Northgate, or similar).
Ability to remain calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities. xwwtmva
