We are looking for a reliable and experiencedSelf-Employed Maintenance Electricianto undertake a wide range of electrical maintenance and installation work across both domestic properties and commercial buildings. The role involves testing, fault finding, and installing electrical systems to a high standard, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installation ofsmoke alarms, CO alarms, and heat alarmsto current standards.
  • Fitting and replacingelectric panel heaters.
  • Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)and associated remedial works.
  • Installation ofnew consumer units (fuse boxes)to meet 18th Edition regulations.
  • Installation and maintenance ofbathroom and kitchen extractor fans.
  • Fitting and replacinglight fittings,sockets, andswitches.
  • Fault finding,testing, andinspectionof domestic electrical systems.
  • Installation and maintenance oflighting systemsinHallways, Staircases, Car parks, Storage cupboards
  • Fittinglockable socketsfor shared access areas and security purposes.
  • Minor upgrades and compliance works in shared and communal commercial spaces.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
  • 2391
  • CSCS
  • Own van and tools
  • Asbestos ( can do an online course if you dont have one)
