MarkJames Search are currently recruiting for a Sales Director to assume a ‘hands on’ role responsible for the growth of revenues through the acquisition of new clients.
This position is initially an individual contributor role, that will evolve into a people management role with a responsibility to shape the sales strategy of the business in EMEA.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of a prospective client portfolio to increase revenues, market share and brand presence in the UK & Europe.
• Assume a ‘hands on’ approach to sales and new client acquisition including market mapping, prospecting, attending meetings, managing pipeline, and closing deals.
• Act as a sales SME and role model by leading by example and championing company sales strategy and values.
• Deliver compelling and engaging solutions-based value propositions to prospect clients.
• Work with the leadership team to create a world class sales strategy that delivers on aggressive growth plans.
• Support the leadership team to implement new initiatives towards overall sales and business strategy.
• Support the leadership to team to identify potential new sales hires for the business.
• Support the leadership to team in coaching, mentoring and developing new and existing Account Managers.
• Lead sales team meetings to drive motivation and daily, weekly and monthly strategic planning.
• Work with the Operations Director to set daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI targets to provide Account Managers with focus and goals to work towards.
• Support Account Managers by attending client sales meetings (virtual and in-person) to win new client business.
• Design and deliver regular and ongoing sales training to improve recruiters knowledge and performance.
• Collaborate with the Operations Director to monitor sales activity and quality levels performance via the internal CRM system.
• Work to overachieve on team and company-based revenue targets.
Requirements
• Extensive (10 years+) experience and a proven track record in new client acquisition and revenue growth, gained in the external staffing provider industry.
• A deep knowledge and understanding of the full sales cycle in the external staffing industry, including sales strategy and planning and implementing of proven sales practices and methodologies.
• A proven track record of success in winning net new logo accounts, including corporate/enterprise level clients, with a focus on contingent workforce.
• An expert level understanding of consultative, solutions-based, sales methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
• A desire and passion to meet targets and a strong work ethic.
• Strong commercial and business acumen., including an understanding of P&L and cost management.
• Ability to influence and motivate.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• An ambitious and entrepreneurial mind set.
• Experience with sales, recruiting, data and automation tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Bullhorn, and LinkedIn.
