Our client, a global telecommunications company, is currently hiring a PR Manager to implement corporate PR activities on behalf of Group management. To communicate Group strategy and operations, and manage the image and reputation of the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or support media relations strategies and campaigns developed for the Group General Management Committee (GMC) and General Leadership Team.
  • Build and sustain relationships with UK-based and international media; as well as with industry analysts and manage press office function.
  • Maintain and continually enhance the Group's English-language press office Twitter handle and social media programme.
  • Provide coordination with UK-based and Group PR operations, as well as PR coordination between lines of business and other countries.
  • Optimise relationships between London-based and Paris-based Group PR teams, PR managers based in countries across the company footprint and key spokespeople.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years PR experience, ideally with a strong technology PR background.
  • Proven media relations skills and good relationships with UK and International media.
  • Proven skills in supporting senior management.
  • Management of external suppliers and agencies.
  • Budget management experience desired.
  • Solid and proven experience managing corporate/press X (Twitter) handles and social media programmes.

This is a full time, 8 Months FTC position working Monday-Friday. This will be a hybrid position, working 2 days from London and 3 days from home. This FTC will start in November. If you are available immediately, this won’t be suitable. Our client offers an excellent remuneration package and excellent career progression prospects.
