We are seeking an experienced Training Lead to support a major Investment Reporting transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering a comprehensive learning curriculum that enables colleagues to successfully adopt new reporting processes, systems, and controls.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance technical teams, SMEs, project stakeholders, and business leads to translate complex investment reporting concepts into engaging, accessible, and effective training solutions.
The Role
As Training Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a structured learning programme that supports the successful implementation of new investment reporting capabilities and operating models. You will bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring colleagues are fully equipped to operate confidently within the evolving Investment Reporting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Programme Design
- Design and develop a multi-module learning programme covering core investment reporting topics including:
- Investment Reporting
- Complex Reporting
- Asset Validations
- Clearwater Analytics
- Solvency Reporting
- Credit Risk Reporting
- Define clear learning objectives aligned to future-state (βTo-Beβ) business processes and operating models
- Translate technical requirements into engaging, audience-appropriate training content
- Training Content Development
- Create high-quality learning materials including:
- E-learning modules
- Scenario-based exercises
- Process walkthroughs
- Data flow demonstrations
- Ensure all content accurately reflects new systems, controls, reconciliations, integrations, and reporting outputs
- Collaborate with SMEs, data specialists, and Finance technical teams to validate training accuracy
- Develop and maintain digital learning modules using Elucidat
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with project managers, business leads, SMEs, and vendors to gather requirements and shape training solutions
- Present training approaches clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Gain alignment and approval for curriculum design and learning materials
- Training Delivery & Support
- Coordinate pilot sessions and learner feedback activities
- Continuously improve training content based on feedback and user experience
- Support deployment and readiness activities across the programme
- Governance & Quality
- Ensure all learning materials meet governance and documentation standards
- Maintain audit-ready training records, version controls, and evidence of delivery
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics
Skills & Experience Required
- Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of investment assets, classifications, lifecycle events, and investment data flows
- Knowledge of:
- IFRS reporting
- Solvency II investment QRTs
- Credit risk reporting
- Familiarity with analytics systems and ERP platforms used within investment or financial reporting environments
- Learning & Development Expertise
- Proven experience designing structured technical learning programmes
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience creating engaging learning content across multiple formats
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- Experience using Elucidat or similar e-learning authoring tools is highly desirable
