We are looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) β 66kV to support offshore commissioning activities on a major wind farm project in the North Sea. This is a key role within a high-performing commissioning team, where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient energisation of high voltage systems. You will play a critical part in ensuring all operations are carried out in line with strict safety standards while supporting the delivery of a large-scale offshore renewables project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out SAP duties including HV switching, isolations, and issuing safety documentation
- Prepare and review switching schedules
- Ensure full compliance with electrical safety rules and offshore procedures
- Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
- Conduct and review risk assessments (RAMS)
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture on site
- Provide supervision and support across commissioning activities
Key Requirements:
- Current Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation at 66kV (33kV candidates with strong multi-feed experience also considered)
- Proven experience within offshore wind or HV transmission projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety rules (WTSR / Model Distribution Safety Rules)
- Experience in HV switching, isolations, and commissioning
- Valid GWO certifications, HUET, and offshore medical
- Relevant electrical qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred)
