My client is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager. This is a rare chance to join an ambitious founding team at the ground floor and build the playbook for how they acquire their first 10,000+ customers.
We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own and lead all of our paid acquisition - with Google and Meta at the core, with real room to expand into affiliates, direct mail, and beyond. This isn't a purely operational role. You'll own the account end-to-end, setting the paid strategy and executing it yourself, working directly with the CEO, CMO and Product team. We want someone who takes ownership, asks why constantly, and genuinely wants to make a difference - not someone who waits for a brief.
Ideal for someone with strong paid experience. Whether you're already operating at this level or stepping up from a slightly more junior role, what matters most is the drive to own it.
What You'll Own
- Paid acquisition (all channels, Google + Meta led) - Own strategy and execution across all paid channels.
- Get the most out of how these platforms work today. Google's AI-driven formats (Performance Max, AI Max, broad match) and Meta post-Andromeda (creative volume, signal quality, letting the algorithm do the targeting).
- Own landing page and conversion rate optimisation across the whole journey from ad click to booking.
- Lead creative ideation for paid - Generating ad concepts and compelling messaging, using AI tools and a designer to move fast.
- Build and run a creative testing framework that produces structured learnings, not one-off wins.
- Own the growth KPIs (CAC, ROAS), the reporting that gives the team clear visibility, and the tracking behind it.
- Use performance data and structured experiments (A/B tests across ads, audiences and funnel) to decide which personas and categories we double down on, then iterate and scale.
- Work AI-first. Automate your own workflows so as little time as possible is lost to manual, repetitive tasks.
- Own the budget end-to-end. Forecasting, pacing, and efficient CAC.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Design, and keep investors updated on growth and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Full ownership - you're accountable for the paid account end-to-end: you set the strategy and execute it hands-on.
- Deep, current Google and Meta expertise - minimum 5+ years hands-on experience; you've led paid channels through the ups and downs.
- Built for early-stage scaling, AI-first by default - you've scaled paid at seed or Series A startups on meaningful monthly budgets.
- Numerical and analytical - you live and breathe data; you're confident owning the metrics, fluent in GA4, attribution and BI dashboards.
- Creative and idea-driven - you can ideate ads, not just manage spend, with a structured, test-and-learn approach.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with TikTok, Pinterest, affiliates, direct mail or other emerging channels.
- Familiarity with the home services sector, professionally or as a customer.
- Consumer platform or marketplace experience is a plus.
Why This Role
- Real autonomy - you own the channels, strategy and execution end-to-end, and shape them from the ground up.
- Room to grow - take on new channels as we scale and build rare, full-stack paid expertise.
- Category-defining - a real chance to build the acquisition playbook for something new.
- Ground-floor impact - join an experienced, ambitious founding team early and genuinely shape how they grow.
