Im recruiting for an exciting UK deep-tech company working at the intersection of AI, robotics and life sciences. They are looking for a Product & Account Lead to take ownership of a key biotech account end to end from client relationship and product strategy through to delivery, adoption and commercial growth. This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys working without a playbook, making decisions with incomplete information and turning customer needs into products that deliver real-world value.
The role Youll be responsible for:
- Owning the client relationship from day-to-day users through to senior stakeholders
- Setting product priorities based on customer and market needs
- Leading the internal delivery team across engineering, AI, design and commercial functions
- Owning project plans, milestones, scope, risk and delivery
- Driving product adoption, account growth and commercial performance
- Identifying opportunities to expand the account into new teams, workflows and use cases
- Working closely with technical leads on architecture and product trade-offs
- Building scalable processes for a long-term client partnership
- Managing suppliers, reporting and stakeholder communications
What were looking for:
- 5+ years experience managing AI projects with multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience owning a client relationship end to end
- Background in biotech, pharma or life sciences
- Strong product management experience, translating customer needs into actionable roadmaps
- Experience leading or coordinating technical teams
- Comfortable discussing modern AI/software technologies including LLMs, RAG and data pipelines
- Strong commercial, scope, budget and delivery management skills
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication skills across technical, scientific and executive audiences
- Experience with account expansion, upselling/renewals, scientific data, regulated environments or AI/software products is highly desirable.
