My client is looking for an experienced digital marketeer to take a central role in the launch and scaling of an innovative new B2C digital collectibles trading game.
Responsibilities
- Delivering strategy for the initial launch (Q1 2019) and scaled roll-out (Q3 2019) of the app.
- Delivering the strategy, creation, execution and monitoring of on-going digital marketing and social media campaigns, using a combination of owned and partner channels.
- Delivering data-led insights and iterative test & learn to optimise strategy and spend.
- Identifying influencers and other strategic media partnerships to drive brand/product adoption.
- Liase directly with the social media and marketing teams in some of the world’s largest football clubs to drive effective delivery of partner social media support activations.
- Overseeing and/or creating social media copy/content.
- Overseeing and/or engaging with a growing community of users globally in app and on social platforms.
- Line management of social media/community manager(s).
Must have skills & experience
- Minimum of 3+ years in a senior digital marketing role, ideally for a consumer-facing business.
- An experienced all-round digital marketeer with demonstrable expertise in social media across established and emerging channels, creative content and campaign strategy, influencer engagement, paid advertising, re-targeting, CRM, e-mails and analytics.
- Experience of having launched and scaled a B2C native app – ideally in the gaming, sports or content sectors – and having played a central role in successful consumer adoption.
- An excellent communicator, confident in building direct relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. club social media/marketing teams) to extend the value of those relationships.
- Experience of implementing tone-of-voice and brand-building across various platforms.
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with experience of managing/mentoring junior staff.
- Demonstrable interest or passion for sport, ideally football.
- Highly ambitious to develop this role in an innovative and entrepreneurial start-up environment.
Nice-to-have skills & experience
- Experience of creative and/or art direction.
- Experience in image-manipulation software (e.g. Photoshop).
- Non-English language skills.
