Our client, a Construction Company specialising in fast track building refurbishments within the Hospitality, Leisure, Education and Retail Sectors, is seeking an Administrator to join the team. This is a varied role and duties include:
- Snagging - arrange works and maintain spreadsheet after projects end. Liaise with Accounts department when works are complete.
- Training - arrange training for staff and keep up to date Training Matrix.
- CHAS (H&S portal) update annually and when needed.
- Hire - arrange hire and collection. Get best prices.
- Arrange accommodation - keep spreadsheet.
- Reception - answering phone when needed. Assisting with ongoing queries. Assist with emergency call outs/special orders when necessary.
- Christmas party - assist with invites and accommodation.
- Men on site - update who is on site daily and monitor for new tradesmen.
- Liaise with Contracts Managers on employees' training and certification/driving licences/drivers.
- Update and monitor Subcontractors' insurance details.
- Fleet management - check driving licences annually for points etc.
- Liaise with Insurance company regarding renewal and keep vehicle list up to date.
- Compile H&S boxes - update paperwork.
- Liaise with Insurance Company regarding accidents/incidents.
- Keep list of Tradespeople/companies to use in future projects.
- Update CSCS as needed.
Job requirements:
- Confident telephone manner as will be dealing with clients as well as Contract Managers.
- Experience in the building industry.
- Experience in hire is an advantage.
- Experience in H&S / CHAS.
- Methodical approach - good at updating spreadsheets.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Flexible attitude.
This role is office based 5 days a week β Hours of work 8.30am β 5pm.
