Overview
Our client is the world’s leading digital infrastructure company. Their mission is to make digital infrastructure more powerful, accessible and sustainable. This role is to support our client’s sales pipeline by engaging senior technology and business leaders, identifying their challenges and requirements, and scheduling qualified follow-up appointments for our specialist sales teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Outbound B2B calling (predominantly cold) to CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Heads of Infrastructure and other senior stakeholders.
- Executing multiple campaigns promoting multi-cloud services and high-performance data centres.
- Introducing our client, referencing the latest or most relevant interaction (whitepaper download, event attendance, etc.) to warm up the conversation.
- Asking profiling questions to understand current infrastructure, business challenges, sustainability goals, security, compliance and AI readiness.
- Capturing accurate notes of conversations, including pain points, opportunities, and contact details in the CRM.
- Securing qualified appointments for the senior sales/specialist team, agreeing on two or three potential dates.
- Maintaining CRM records and ensuring data quality on all leads and opportunities.
- Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure lead quality and campaign alignment.
Ideal person
- Previous B2B experience liaising with senior decision makers (C-level preferred).
- Confident, consultative and professional telephone manner with excellent oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated, target-driven and comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
- Strong questioning and listening skills to uncover needs and qualify opportunities.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud or data centre services is advantageous (training provided).
- Organised and able to manage time efficiently across multiple campaigns.
- Fluent in English.
