By providing a fully integrated software solution, MarketLeap helps D2C sellers focus on core business activities while simplifying operational complexities and marketplace expansion. We’re well‑funded and backed by top investors, and are now looking for Senior Software Engineers to grow our tech team based in London.
Skills you need to be great at this job:
- Proven expertise in writing logical, maintainable, and scalable code in Java (or another JVM language such as Kotlin); familiarity with Quarkus or a modern JVM framework is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience working with complex algorithms and data structures.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex system architectures, and owning them end-to-end in production.
- Insist on high standards when it comes to software quality, testing, and operational excellence.
- Experience (or genuine interest) with AWS, distributed systems, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
What success looks like in the first 6+ months:
- You took ownership of a product domain and became the go‑to technical owner for it.
- You delivered high-quality, production‑grade features and drove at least one major project from conception to delivery.
- You raised the bar on our engineering practices – code review, testing, and observability.
- You showed that you care about what we build and the future of our group, making decisions and owning the outcomes.
