NEW JUST IN! Our client is a well-established freight forwarder who has successful clients within general freight and supply chain shipments.
They are recruiting for a bright, experienced IMPORT MANAGER who can join them and oversee a medium-sized team and offer support and motivation.
You should have strong knowledge of customs procedures start-finish and be hands-on with customs entries and clearances, you will support your staff/team members by providing any training, liaising with HR to arrange any relevant training courses.
You will be managing the day-to-day import operations, looking after key accounts and liaising with overseas offices and departments within the business.
You should have strong customer service skills and be well-presented, you will have the opportunity to meet clients and attend company events.
