Import and Export Customer Service Clerk
We are looking for a proactive Import & Export Customer Service Clerk to join a busy logistics team. This role is perfect for someone with strong customer service experience within freight forwarding, and confidence handling time‑critical shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing customer service support for import and export shipments
- Managing time‑critical bookings and ensuring smooth movement of freight
- Communicating with customers, carriers and internal teams
- Monitoring shipments and resolving any issues quickly
- Handling queries, updates, and documentation requirements
Requirements
- Experience in import/export customer service (freight forwarding essential)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using IT systems
- Ability to prioritise time‑sensitive tasks
- Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30pm
