Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

We are currently recruiting a Road Freight Operations Specialist to join our client’s growing team based near Slough. Our client is a specialist in high‑value and fine art packing and shipping, providing bespoke logistics solutions for prestigious clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and oversee international shipments, liaising closely with clients, freight partners, customs and other service providers.
  • Coordinate scheduled and dedicated road transport services, including European routes.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor consignments using transport management and freight systems.
  • Prepare and verify all shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Provide accurate and timely progress updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate shipment records within internal systems.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to company policies, industry standards and health & safety requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience in international logistics or transport coordination is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of transportation management systems and freight software.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of high‑value goods handling and fine art shipping regulations would be advantageous.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
