A highly organised and proactive Credit Controller is required to join a supportive and friendly team in Sunbury. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to take ownership of their credit control function and contribute to the smooth running of their finance operations.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM β 5:30 PM
Salary: Up to Β£30,000, dependent on experience
Location: Full-time office-based role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales Ledger and oversee credit collections, ensuring compliance with agreed credit terms
- Proactively chase outstanding debts using effective collection methods via telephone and email
- Prepare and issue weekly and monthly account statements to clients
- Resolve queries and disputes efficiently
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Conduct daily bank downloads and manage cash allocation
- Handle and process credit card payments
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in freight is advantageous but not essential
- Strong numeracy skills
- Proficient with computers and relevant software
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Quick learner with a willingness to undergo training
