Role
Our client, a leading freight forwarding company, is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join their dynamic operations team.
The Role
- Managing import shipments (air & sea) from booking through to delivery
- Liaising with customers and overseas agents, building trusted relationships
- Handling customs entries, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Monitoring carrier performance and UK arrivals to meet customer expectations
- Preparing accurate invoicing and maintaining commercial awareness
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in freight forwarding/import operations
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures & shipping documentation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
