Role

Our client, a leading freight forwarding company, is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join their dynamic operations team.

The Role

  • Managing import shipments (air & sea) from booking through to delivery
  • Liaising with customers and overseas agents, building trusted relationships
  • Handling customs entries, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Monitoring carrier performance and UK arrivals to meet customer expectations
  • Preparing accurate invoicing and maintaining commercial awareness

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding/import operations
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures & shipping documentation
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach

Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00–17:30
