Overview
NEW VACANCY: Our client is looking for someone who has at least 6–12 months export operations experience to join their team. This would suit a \’2nd job level\’ candidate.
You will be working for a well established freight forwarder dealing with exports mainly for airfreight but there will be an opportunity to deal with other modes.
Responsibilities
- Make bookings with airlines, handlers and haulage contractors; negotiate freight rates and provide a high level of customer service to clients on their shipments.
- Complete customs clearance documentation and use freight systems such as CDS, Sequoia and ASM.
- Post flights, MAWB and HAWB processing.
Qualifications
- At least 6–12 months export operations experience.
- Experience with customs clearance documentation.
- Experience using freight systems such as CDS, Sequoia, and ASM.
- Ability to manage bookings and communicate effectively with airlines, handlers, and haulage partners.
