What You’ll Be Doing

As a Head of Events Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind delegate acquisition and event success. Working closely with the Global Marketing Director, you’ll lead a small team to craft and execute integrated campaigns that fill rooms and create buzz.

Your mission:

  • Drive Results
  • Own delegate registration and attendance across 3 large B2B conferences / events
  • Design and deliver multi-channel campaigns (email, social, search, telemarketing, partnerships) that convert
  • Implement SEO and conversion rate optimization for event websites
  • Develop smart, data-driven pricing strategies that maximise revenue
  • Manage & Mentor
  • Manage event marketing budgets for maximum ROI
  • Partner with events teams to create winning marketing strategies
  • Deliver insightful monthly performance reports to stakeholders
  • Be the Expert
  • Monitor competitor activity and spot opportunities
  • Own copywriting and proofing for all external marketing materials
  • Standardize measurement frameworks and track essential KPIs
  • Implement best practices and structured analytics across campaigns

Who You Are

Essential Experience:

  • 5+ years in B2B events marketing – conferences are your bread and butter
  • Team leadership – you’ve managed and mentored junior team members
  • Campaign mastery – proven track record of successful multi-channel campaigns
  • Commercial acumen – you align marketing strategy with sales objectives and revenue goals
  • Data-driven mindset – you turn analytics into actionable insights

Technical Skills:

  • Confident with marketing technology: HubSpot, Salesforce, Sprinkler, LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Comfortable with CMS systems, Canva, basic Photoshop, HTML
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics
  • Experience testing, measuring, and optimising channels for ROI
