Marketing Manager – B2B Events Projects
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the Central London office (Tues, Weds, Fri).
Salary us up to £50k Basic, with strong benefits on top.
The Marketing Manager – Event Projects will play a key role within the marketing team, focusing on initiatives that drive growth for my client’s events products. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, data, and external research teams to optimise ROI on data research investments.
Additionally, you will oversee multiple growth-focused projects for the events, working in tandem with the Digital Marketing Manager and Events Marketing teams. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing project plans while ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and aligned.
Knowledge & Skills:
- At least four years of experience in events marketing or B2B marketing / marketing project management
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis, including segmentation, data integrity, and deduplication.
- Experienced in working with third-party suppliers and agencies, with strong negotiation skills.
- Familiar with digital marketing metrics, especially ROI.
- Capable of developing and executing detailed plans for campaigns and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with the data research agency, ensuring adherence to data quality standards.
- Track and report on data spend, comparing it against the budget and acquisition targets, broken down by brand, asset class, and customer group. Proactively notify marketers if spending is below expectations or acquisition targets are at risk.
- Collaborate with the data, campaigns, and marketing teams to ensure maximum return on data research investments.
- Lead new initiatives aimed at boosting marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI across the events portfolio. Ensure all projects are thoroughly planned and work with teams to execute successfully.
- Ensure new projects and initiatives are effectively integrated across the events portfolio and that the Events Marketing team is kept up-to-date.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to identify opportunities for enhancing campaign ROI using both existing and new digital marketing tools.
- Collaborate with the Marketo agency to ensure Marketo initiatives are properly set up and optimised when necessary.
