Role Summary
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing and optimising The Conduit’s marketing strategy across digital and print channels, with a strong focus on social media, content creation, and campaign performance. This role plays a key part in driving brand awareness, member engagement, and event participation, while ensuring all communications reflect The Conduit’s mission and values. The successful candidate will combine creativity with data-driven decision-making to enhance marketing effectiveness and support business growth. You’ll be working directly for and supported by an experienced and hands-on Head of Marketing - a rare opportunity to get an immersive and comprehensive training in all key marketing disciplines, setting you up for a senior marketing role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating engaging social media content for Meta and YouTube Shorts (reels, carousels, image posts)
- Managing the posting schedule across all social media channels, including LinkedIn
- Analysing post and channel performance to optimise engagement and reach
- Advising on social media trends and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant
- Implementing and evaluating social media strategies aligned with business goals
- Managing and boosting posts on Meta platforms
- Producing weekly and monthly social media performance reports
- Preparing and sending the weekly “What’s On” newsletter
- Preparing and sending a monthly club newsletter
- Assisting with creating and managing paid media campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn) as required
- Assisting with the design and production of brochures and promotional materials
- Overseeing HubSpot workflows, database setup, and ongoing CRM management
- Supporting occasional WordPress website updates and SEO optimisation
- Building and managing paid search campaigns
- Administering marketing systems, invoices, and payment processes
- Managing brand assets and ensuring brand compliance across all channels
Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in a marketing or digital marketing role
- Strong expertise in social media management, content creation, and paid media
- Experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and email marketing tools
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to make creatives
- Campaign reporting, ideally using BI or some other reporting tool
- Familiarity with websites and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Familiarity with digital ad platforms desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Certifications in digital marketing or paid media (desirable)
Language proficiency: Fluent in English
