Role Overview
An Account Executive supports the smooth running of high-quality projects on brief and on time, providing administrative and project coordination support while developing client and internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Administration
- Compile and update status and contact reports.
- Create schedules to support the timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Assist projects through the production process, from briefing to completion.
- Open and estimate jobs within the job costing system (training provided).
- Handle client amends accurately and efficiently.
- Proofread all work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organise and prepare meeting rooms and materials for internal and client meetings.
- Manage general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing and answering calls.
- Maintain weekly status reports.
- Create and maintain project timelines, quotations, agendas and contact reports.
- Ensure accurate scheduling, task management and time tracking.
- Maintain accurate CRM and server records, including file archiving.
- Check the accuracy of requirements and amends as part of quality control.
- Schedule work with creative and digital teams, providing updates to scheduling teams.
- Account Management
- Develop internal and client relationships as experience grows.
- Engage more deeply in project content, strategy and understanding of client business over time.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from clients and internal teams promptly.
- Support the creation of client reports, briefs and project documentation.
- Ensure clear, consistent communication to keep clients updated on project status.
- Prioritise and multitask across multiple clients to support efficient and profitable delivery.
- Take ownership of projects from quote approval to completion, escalating to senior team members when necessary.
- Recognise when senior support is needed and involve the right people appropriately.
- Proactively suggest process improvements for account management.
