Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer on behalf of our client based in Braintree, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for specialising in the production of high-specification fire and acoustic doors, doorsets, and panelling. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their skilled team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Spraying a variety of timber products using water-based and PU (polyurethane) paints
- Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming
- Mixing and colour-matching paints to required specifications
- Ensuring a smooth, even finish with attention to quality and consistency
- Maintaining spray booths and equipment to a high standard
- Working to production deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Quality checking finished items before they leave the spray shop
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a spray-painting role, ideally within a joinery, furniture, or timber manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of both water-based and PU spray systems
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
