Our client, a fast-growing innovative property finance company that’s redefining the market in what it means to deliver fast, customer-focused financial solutions within the property lending sector. Backed by significant institutional funding and driven by technology, they are building a smarter way to serve brokers, developers, and investors in the UK market. They are now seeking for an ambitious and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to fuel their continued growth across key lending products, including bridging, buy-to-let, and development finance.
The role is 90% remote with a visit to Head Office needed now and again. On top of the base salary, there will be a discretionary yearly 10%-15% bonus on top for your yearly work and contribution.
- Develop and grow relationships with brokers, property developers, and other key introducers to generate new business opportunities.
- Own and manage your sales pipeline—from lead generation through to application and deal close.
- Represent the business at industry events, networking forums, and webinars to build brand awareness and referral channels.
- Stay close to the market—gathering intelligence to shape commercial strategy and support product evolution.
- Use digital and social channels to expand reach and presence within your territory.
- Be available to meet clients or introducers flexibly—including occasional evenings or weekends, where required.
- Ensure all activity aligns with the highest standards of customer care and compliance.
Requirements:
- At least 3 - 5 years proven experience in property finance—bridging, BTL, or related sectors.
- Ideally experience and wisdom in utilising broker networks, agents, developers in the UK market.
- You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of self-generating new business/deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to spot growth opportunities.
- A flexible, hands-on approach—comfortable working independently and on the move.
- Willingness to travel regionally and represent the brand at key moments.
- You will be a self-starter and understand business goals and strategy.
