The Role
- You will assume responsibility for managing and growing a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients, acting as their trusted banking adviser and primary point of contact.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across lending, deposits, treasury, operations and wealth management, you will deliver tailored solutions designed to meet the complex financial needs of internationally connected clients.
- The successful individual will be expected to deepen existing relationships whilst also identifying opportunities to acquire new clients through professional networks, referrals and business development activity.
- Product wise you will focusing on deposits, mortgages and the bank own investment funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent private banking clients.
- Build long-term trusted relationships through exceptional service and proactive engagement.
- Identify opportunities to increase deposits, lending activity and overall client profitability.
- Deliver bespoke banking solutions aligned to clients' personal and business requirements.
- Conduct regular client reviews and relationship planning meetings.
- Work collaboratively with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver holistic client solutions.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals and professional introducer relationships.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, AML, KYC and internal governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and relationship management documentation.
- Contribute towards the continued growth and development of the Private Banking franchise.
Candidate Profile
- Experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management or Premium Relationship Banking.
- A proven track record of managing affluent, HNW or internationally connected clients.
- Strong knowledge of deposit products, lending solutions and wealth management services.
- Experience developing client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory obligations including AML, KYC and financial crime requirements.
- A relationship-driven approach with a genuine focus on client outcomes.
