Treasury Dealer - 1 Year FTC (Fixed Income) in London

This opportunity sits with a long-established international sovereign banking group is seeking a Treasury Dealer t o help manage the investment portfolio of the bank which includes, IG & HY Credits, Convertible Bonds & Securitised products with a focus on Indian credits. To undertake credit analysis & seek internal approvals. Price and execute fixed income transactions including corporate bonds, convertible bonds, interest rate swaps, and other products. Reporting to the Senior Dealer you will; To help manage the investment portfolio of the bank which includes, IG & HY Credits, Convertible Bonds & Securitised products with a focus on Indian credits To price and execute fixed income transactions including corporate bonds, convertible bonds, interest rate swaps, and other products To support credit decision making through fundamental/technical analysis and credit notes. To continuously monitor developments in the markets and assess risk reward payoffs Dealing in markets is subject to approved dealer limits and adhering to all stipulated processesInvest in in permitted markets to make revenues for the Bank within the risk appetite of the Bank Deal in the credit markets to obtain best execution Ensure that all credit notes and other documentation are completed on time Help to ensureadequate controls, procedures, systems, training and other arrangements are put in place Undertake projects and assignment from time to time as directed by Supervisor Maintain reputation of Bank in conduct with market counterparties by dealing in a professional manner Review dealing processes and policies and incorporate best practices Help develop and implement relevant processes that will aid in the risk monitoring and reporting Maintain and update MIS for monitoring the portfolio closely Prepare credit notes and other notes to aid the investment process Key Skills and Knowledge Requirements: A degree in finance/other professional qualification At least 2 years’ experience in trading in fixed income markets Good understanding of credit pricing & market technical Strength of character, credibility and personal presence and the communication skills to operate confidently and effectively in the market Good understanding of financial markets in general and credit markets in particular Understanding of fixed income and experience in bond trading If you’re exploring opportunities like this or scaling your own team, simply google \”Market Talent\” to see how we support high-growth organisations and candidates across the UK.
