Our client, a prestigious banking brand who has been situated in the UK for nearly 50 years, is seeking a new Relationship Support individual. This excellent commercial banking brand has strong business lines into residential mortgages, BTL and commercial real estate lending. The role will see you in a front line role supporting Business Relationship Managers and support them in effective client portfolio management.
The Relationship Support Officer (RSO) is responsible for supporting the Relationship & Branch Manager in delivering a high standard of customer service, client onboarding, AML/KYC compliance, branch operations and administrative support activities. The role acts as a key point of contact for customers and assists with account opening, customer due diligence, ongoing KYC reviews, locker operations, cash handling activities, account maintenance and various operational processes. The RSO will liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requests are processed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and Bank requirements. The role also provides administrative support to the Relationship & Branch Manager in relation to credit processing activities, including documentation gathering, system uploads, tracking approvals and maintaining records.
The bank is located in Tooting and would require you onsite 5 days per week. The role is a strict 9am - 5pm (so no long hours required).
- Relationship & Customer Support
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries through telephone, email and face-to-face interactions.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of client requests.
- Support the Relationship & Branch Manager with customer meetings, follow-up actions and correspondence.
- Branch Operations & KYC / AML Processing
- Process cash deposits and withdrawals in accordance with Bank procedures.
- Assist with operational controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Process new onboarding request and perform AML & KYC requirements for new as well as existing clients.
- Locker Operations
- Administer locker opening, renewals, closures and customer access procedures.
- Ensure locker operations are conducted in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
- Credit Administration Support
- Assist the Relationship & Branch Manager with credit administration activities.
- Upload customer and facility information onto the Bank's systems.
- Coordinate with Credit Administration, Operations and other internal teams regarding documentation requirements.
- Management Information & Reporting
- Assist in preparing various branch MIS reports and management information submissions.
- Produce periodic reports as required by management.
The role offers a generous starting base of £35,000 plus banking benefits and a yearly bonus with yearly salary reviews. Your first year you should earn approx £42,000 - £45,000 total compensation.
