We are working with a prestigious financial services firm operating across Trading, Market Making, Sales Trading and Investment Banking who are seeking to hire a specialist within its Middle Office / Trade Support function. This role sits at the centre of the trade lifecycle, acting as a key control point between the front office and broader infrastructure teams, ensuring the seamless execution, validation and reporting of trades in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The position will support trading desks by overseeing trade execution processes, ensuring accuracy and best execution across multiple asset classes. The Middle Office / Trade Support function plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s trading and market making activities, ensuring the accurate processing, control and reporting of trades across UK and international markets (including US, Canada and EEA).
This opportunity is suited to an Analyst / junior Officer-level individual looking to build and develop their career within a front-office-aligned operations environment. The role provides strong exposure to trade lifecycle management, trading systems and market infrastructure within a fast-paced investment banking setting.
Any experience of Fidessa, CTM, CTAC, Traiana, Harmony and ideally have experience from the Equity broker / dealer or market maker sector would be advantageous. Working as part of a collaborative Middle Office / Trade Support team, the successful individual will support the day-to-day processing and control of trade activity, working closely with Traders, senior team members and internal stakeholders.
- Support trade booking and amendments within Fidessa
- Maintain static data within Fidessa Data Manager (FDM)
- Support IPOs and secondary placings
- Produce basic reporting and assist with Best Execution monitoring
Previous Middle Office / Trade Support experience (or internship).
