Market Securities is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial leveraged credit salesperson to join its expanding High Yield and Distressed Sales & Trading desk. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to engage with institutional accounts across some of the most exciting names in the European, Emerging, and US high yield, leveraged loan, and distressed markets. Our model provides ambitious and hard-working professionals with significant responsibility, a steep learning curve, and opportunity to cover a large Tier 1 account base.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain relationships with core institutional clients.
- Market and distribute leveraged loans, high yield bonds, restructured equities, and bankruptcy claims.
- Partner closely with trading and research teams to deliver conviction investment views and market insights to clients.
- Execute client orders efficiently.
- Expand the client base across target markets.
- Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends impacting the leveraged finance credit markets.
Qualifications
- 4 - 7 years of experience in leveraged loan or high yield sales, or within a loan syndication role.
- Strong understanding of high yield credit, loan, and fixed income products.
- Established, meaningful, and current relationships with institutional high yield and CLO asset managers across Europe.
- Proven ability to generate and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a commercial and highly interpersonal approach.
- Motivated, team-oriented, and detail focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional European language skills are advantageous.
