The Role

We are hiring a Senior Amazon Advertising & Paid Media Manager to lead paid media strategy and execution across key accounts, covering Amazon Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC). This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who can combine three strengths:

  • The ability to build a paid media strategy that aligns with commercial objectives and the brand’s stage of growth on Amazon.
  • Strong in-platform capability across Sponsored Ads, DSP and AMC, with the confidence to implement, test, and optimise at pace.
  • The ability to build and manage senior client relationships - translating performance into clear narratives, making decisive recommendations, and aligning stakeholders.

Please note: this role is not focused on catalogue maintenance or routine Seller Central/Vendor Central administration. You will partner closely with our account management and operations teams, but your remit is to lead paid media strategy and execution, with full ownership and accountability for overall sales performance across accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership and Strategy
    • Own the paid media strategy across key accounts, ensuring alignment to business goals (e.g. growth, efficiency, brand awareness, LTV, TACoS, market share, launch performance, and repeat purchase).
    • Define the role of each lever within a full-funnel approach - what we prioritise, what we deprioritise, and how that changes over time.
    • Build structured testing plans that drive continuous improvement and create scalable learnings.
    • Take ownership of total sales performance, reporting on results and working cross-functionally with other teams to identify and resolve non-media constraints - ensuring all factors impacting sales are addressed.
  • Hands-on Execution
    • Build and optimise campaigns and strategies across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display.
    • Create clean structures and targeting strategies that separate intent and control spend intelligently.
    • Apply disciplined optimisation: scale what works, remove waste, and protect efficiency without sacrificing momentum.
    • Design and run DSP activity with clear objectives across prospecting, consideration and retargeting, ensuring DSP complements Sponsored Ads and contributes to incremental growth.
    • Build and activate AMC audiences to sharpen targeting and improve efficiency whilst using AMC insights to guide planning and optimisation decisions.
    • Translate AMC outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Client Relationship Ownership
    • Lead client conversations on performance, direction and trade-offs with senior-level credibility.
    • Produce reporting and forecasting that is decision-led and commercially meaningful - focused on actions and outcomes, not noise.
    • Build trusted relationships through consistency, clarity, and proactive stakeholder management.
  • Team Development
    • Mentor and train advertising team members to improve capability and consistency across accounts.
    • Contribute to internal standards and best practices across QA, documentation, and testing disciplines.

Core Requirements

  • UK-based, with the ability to commute to our London office at least once per week.
  • 3+ years’ hands-on Amazon advertising experience, with clear evidence of personal implementation and optimisation in-platform.
  • Ability to take ownership of paid media performance across a portfolio of key accounts, growing revenue and improving efficiency against agreed KPIs.
  • Strong capability across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display.
  • Amazon DSP experience with proven ability to plan, activate, and optimise campaigns.
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) experience, including building/using audiences and applying insights to targeting, measurement, and strategy.
  • Experience working across Seller Central and Vendor Central, with an understanding of how each model impacts media decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead client relationships - communicating strategy with clarity and confidence, and managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical capability and able to diagnose performance drivers, prioritise actions, and execute decisively.
  • Highly numerate and confident working with large datasets, interrogating performance, and making commercially sound recommendations.
  • Strong forecasting capability and able to build and maintain budget plans, projections, and performance forecasts, and translate these into clear client guidance.
  • Comfortable managing both small and significant advertising budgets, with disciplined pacing, allocation, and efficiency control.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, scenario modelling, and building clear, usable models).
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, collaborating cross-functionally with initiative and pace.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presenting skills, with a track record in client-facing roles.
