About Market Rocket
Market Rocket is a London-based Amazon growth agency representing 100+ globally recognised brands and high-growth challengers across multiple categories. We partner closely with leadership teams to build and scale Amazon as a commercially accountable channel, with clear strategy, disciplined execution, and a focus on sustainable performance.
We provide clients with a full-service Amazon solution, with Account Management as the central operating function. Account Managers work cross-functionally across Retail Media & Advertising, SEO & Listing Optimisation, and Creative/Design to ensure every lever that influences performance is owned, prioritised, and executed to a high standard.
Client relationships sit at the centre of how we work. We embed alongside in-house teams, set clear strategic direction, and communicate with clarity and confidence - ensuring stakeholders understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how it translates into measurable commercial outcomes.
About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Amazon Account Manager who can independently run a portfolio of client accounts to an exceptionally high standard - someone who understands the mechanics of Amazon, builds trust with stakeholders, and delivers consistently with pace and accountability.
This role sits at the centre of delivery. You will take ownership of day-to-day account stewardship, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, setting clear priorities, and ensuring work is executed at pace and to a high standard. You will work cross-functionally with our specialists across SEO & Listing Optimisation, Retail Media & Advertising, and Creative/Design to ensure each account is managed holistically, with account management as the operating core.
The ideal candidate will be a confident problem-solver who can work independently, brings structure to complexity, takes accountability for outcomes, and communicates clearly to ensure our clients always feel supported.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of Amazon accounts end-to-end, ensuring clear strategy, rigorous execution, and consistent progress against agreed goals.
- Lead client relationships day-to-day, embedding alongside in-house teams, building trust with stakeholders, and providing clear direction and decision-making support.
- Take responsibility for overall Amazon account health, proactively anticipating the variables that impact performance and addressing issues before they escalate.
- Manage core account management across Seller Central and/or Vendor Central (depending on client set-up), including catalogue governance, operational workflows, and trading cadence.
- Own catalogue management to a high standard, including flat file uploads where appropriate, variation structures, suppressions, compliance requirements, attributes, and category accuracy.
- Coordinate and oversee inventory management and replenishment, including FBA shipment creation/management and Vendor PO coordination where relevant, ensuring strong availability and risk mitigation.
- Plan and execute promotional scheduling in line with commercial objectives, operational feasibility, and margin considerations.
- Drive retail readiness and conversion improvements by collaborating with SEO and Creative teams to continually enhance product detail pages, brand presentation, and content quality.
- Lead troubleshooting and case management with Seller/Vendor Support, pushing issues through to resolution with urgency and clear internal/client communication.
- Own reporting and client updates, translating performance into clear insights and actions, including progress against targets, Share of Voice, and competitor context where relevant.
- Work cross-functionally to align priorities across workstreams, create clear briefs, and ensure delivery is cohesive rather than siloed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ hands-on Amazon account management experience, with clear evidence of independently managing multiple client accounts and delivering measurable progress.
- Strong working knowledge of Seller Central and/or Vendor Central (experience across both is preferred).
- Proven capability in catalogue management, including flat files, variation strategy, troubleshooting suppressions, and maintaining high retail readiness standards.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with confidence in interpreting performance drivers, forecasting where required, and managing reporting in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent client communication skills: able to simplify complexity and build confidence with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple workstreams with pace and control.
- A proactive, solutions-led mindset with a strong bias to action, demonstrating initiative and accountability, progressing work independently and driving issues through to resolution.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and accountability matters.
Please note: This role does not encompass hands-on advertising management, but it does require strong collaboration with Retail Media/Advertising specialists to ensure strategy and execution are aligned.
