The role
- This role owns events and content for a fast‑growing B2B tech business, with clear responsibility for turning marketing activity into pipeline.
- Own the events programme and calendar across the year
- Plan and deliver external industry events, including sponsored events and conferences
- Run smaller internal events for prospects and customers
- Manage venues, suppliers, budgets, logistics and on‑the‑day execution
- Work closely with sales teams to secure meetings and follow‑up from events
- Build and manage a structured content programme aligned to monthly themes
- Commission, review and quality‑control content produced internally and externally
- Repurpose core content into formats such as email, social, newsletters and short‑form articles
What you will need to succeed in this role
- 3–5 years of B2B events marketing experience in the tech industry
- Proven ability to plan and execute events that influence revenue
- Hands‑on content experience, either creating or managing delivery
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive, self‑starter mindset
- Experience creating event experiences that engage IT or developer audiences
- Background in community‑led events or high‑profile brand activations
- Skilled at managing speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
