Role Overview
This is a pivotal role for a strategic yet hands-on brand marketer who can connect creative excellence with commercial impact. You’ll be responsible for shaping how the company shows up in the UK — from brand positioning and narrative through to campaigns that build recognition and drive pipeline. Working closely with senior leaders across marketing, sales, and product, you’ll turn insight into strategy and strategy into action.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and own the UK brand strategy, ensuring alignment with growth and commercial goals
- Translate positioning into creative campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed brand consistency across every touchpoint
- Lead the creation of compelling content and storytelling that differentiates the business in the market
- Use data and insights to measure effectiveness and continually optimise performance
- Manage agency partners and freelancers to deliver exceptional creative and brand execution with a £2m budget
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience building or transforming a challenger brand in a high-growth B2C, B2B, SaaS or Marketplace environment
- A hands-on brand builder — equally comfortable defining strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver it
- Demonstrable track record of driving measurable commercial impact through brand activity
- Strong grasp of how brand and demand generation work together across the full funnel
- Experience partnering closely with founders, execs, or senior leadership to shape strategic direction
- Creative thinker with excellent storytelling ability and strong visual judgment
- Commercially minded, data-informed, and motivated by impact rather than process
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, lean environments with minimal bureaucracy
- Natural collaborator who thrives in ambiguity, builds momentum, and gets things done
- Experience leading or mentoring small, high-performing teams or managing agency partners
