The role

  • This role owns events and content for a fast-growing B2B tech business, with clear responsibility for turning marketing activity into pipeline.
  • Own the events programme and calendar across the year
  • Plan and deliver external industry events, including sponsored events and conferences
  • Run smaller internal events for prospects and customers
  • Manage venues, suppliers, budgets, logistics and on-the-day execution
  • Work closely with sales teams to secure meetings and follow-up from events
  • Build and manage a structured content programme aligned to monthly themes
  • Commission, review and quality-control content produced internally and externally
  • Repurpose core content into formats such as email, social, newsletters and short-form articles

What you will need to succeed in this role

  • 3–5 years of B2B events marketing experience in the tech industry
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events that influence revenue
  • Hands-on content experience, either creating or managing delivery
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, self-starter mindset
  • Experience creating event experiences that engage IT or developer audiences
  • Background in community-led events or high-profile brand activations
  • Skilled at managing speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
