The opportunity
Our client is a growing B2B SaaS provider that builds software for high-risk industries like construction and utilities. They are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to own and scale their lead generation engine. This is a revenue-focused position where you will move beyond vanity metrics to drive actual pipeline. You will be responsible for a sophisticated mix of outbound automation, intent data, and high-touch customer events. This role reports directly to the Marketing Director and works closely with the sales and customer success teams to ensure every marketing activity is tied to commercial outcomes.
What you will be doing
- Outbound and automation
- Build and scale outbound systems using tools such as PhantomBuster, Clay, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Define the ideal customer profile (ICP), manage segmentation, and build targeted lists.
- Design and iterate on workflows that move prospects from cold outreach to sales-ready leads.
- Test different messaging, hooks, and offers across various outbound channels.
- Inbound and demand generation
- Capture and convert demand through the website, LinkedIn events, and specific campaigns.
- Use intent tools like Leadfeeder to identify high-interest accounts and trigger timely follow-ups.
- Optimise conversion paths from initial visit through to qualified lead.
- Events and customer relationships
- Plan and promote flagship customer events, including webinars and in-person experiences.
- Act as a bridge between marketing and customers, conducting case studies and testimonials.
- Create pre- and post-event nurture flows to warm up leads before sales outreach.
- Sales alignment
- Work closely with the sales director and customer success team to ensure a tight feedback loop.
- Manage the attribution of revenue, focusing on how marketing influences outbound sales.
- Collaborate with a PPC agency to align paid media spend with current sales priorities.
What success looks like
After the first six months, you will have established a predictable flow of both inbound and outbound leads. You will have built scalable systems that allow the sales team to focus on high-intent prospects, and your reporting will clearly show the revenue impact of your campaigns.
About you
Our client is looking for someone who is eager, trainable, and commercially minded. While experience is important, they value cultural fit and a "can-do" attitude above all else. You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a SaaS environment. You are comfortable using (or learning) automation and enrichment tools like Clay or PhantomBuster. You have a strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and how to move leads through a lifecycle. You are an excellent writer who can craft compelling emails, social posts, and event copy. You are comfortable being customer-facing and enjoy attending events to speak directly with users and prospects. You are analytical and prefer making decisions based on data rather than opinion.
Benefits
- 15% bonus paid quarterly.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
- Annual personal learning budget.
- Regular team socials and a supportive, people-first culture.
- Modern office in Old Street with a hybrid working pattern (usually Tuesday and Thursday in office, the rest from home).
