The Role

AsAssistant Manager , you’ll work closely with our General Manager to ensure our workspace runs seamlessly, our members are supported and our business continues to grow. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you’ll act as the main point of contact for our 200+ members, and oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the space.

This role blends member-facing hospitality, operational oversight and some commercial exposure – perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility and has an eye both for detail and the bigger picture.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Experience & Community

  • Be a friendly, professional main point of contact for member and visitor support.
  • Onboard new members, ensuring they feel welcome and informed from day one.
  • Facilitate connections and networking opportunities within our community.
  • Plan, promote, and host regular member events (occasional evening work).

Operations & Oversight

  • Work with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of presentation and functionality throughout the workspace.
  • Identify and address operational issues promptly, escalating to maintenance or the General Manager when needed.
  • Ensure all processes run smoothly — from meeting room bookings to member communications.
  • Support the General Manager as required with wider building management

Sales & Business Growth

  • Manage incoming leads through our CRM system.
  • Give engaging tours of the workspace to all prospective members.
  • Keep sales listings and marketing channels up to date.
  • Support debt management and payment processes with professionalism.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the General Manager on operational planning and improvements.
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g. marketing consultants) to enhance member experience and occupancy rates.
  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight for the housekeeping team.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines great people and sales skills with a keen eye for detail, as well as being:

·Experienced in co-working, retail, or hotel management.

·Confident using CRM systems to manage leads and data.

·Warm, approachable, and service-driven.

·Detail-focussed and highly organised.

·Reliable and proactive.

·Able to balance day-to-day tasks with longer-term planning.

·Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
