The Role
As a Senior Floor & Bar Manager, you will be right at the centre of the action leading shifts, supporting your team, and making sure every guest has an amazing experience from the moment they arrive. You will act as the link between supervisors, the team and the senior leadership team, combining hands on operational leadership with wider business responsibilities. From coaching your team and driving performance to managing service flow during peak periods, you will play a vital role in keeping Shelter Hall running smoothly every day.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading shifts as Senior Manager on Duty across floor and bar operations
- Delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Coaching and developing Duty Managers, Supervisors, and team members
- Managing service flow, guest queries, and complaints with confidence
- Supporting rota planning, labour control, and cost management
- Monitoring operational standards, checklists, and compliance logs
- Ensuring full compliance with Food Safety, Health and Safety, and licensing requirements
- Building strong relationships with our independent traders and suppliers
- Supporting the AGM and stepping up in their absence when required
- Championing Market Halls values and creating a fun, motivated team culture
