BARTENDER £12.71 per hour + Service Charge (est. £1 per hour)
Hospitality is changing... Change with us! Shelter Hall is owned by Market Halls. This role is based within our flagship landmark Food Hall on Brighton’s seafront! Shelter Hall is made up of 7 kitchens and 2 bars split across 2 floors, with private dining and unbeatable outside space. Combining a fantastic choice of cuisines for our guests, all ordered through the Shelter Hall app and delivered to their table by our floor team.
As a Bartender at Shelter Hall, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, crafting high-quality drinks while delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Engaging with guests
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar
- Ensuring smooth service during busy periods
- Taking payments
- Stock control
- Upholding hygiene and safety standards
This role requires strong mixology skills, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.

Requirements:
- Previous bar experience including cocktails preferred
- Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Confident speaking to new people
- Good level of English language
