Management Accountant (London Area)

Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing, developing, and analysing financial information, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Update and reconcile commitment fee and valuation spreadsheets with bank payments and receipts. Raise sales ledger invoices promptly and accurately. Reconcile intercompany accounts across different entities. Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets, ensuring accurate monthly reconciliation. Prepare and post monthly journals, including those related to asset disposals. Conduct profit and loss account balance analysis on a monthly basis. Prepare VAT returns and assist with balance sheet reconciliations. Provide necessary documentation for audit requirements. Support the senior accountant in managing accounts for our Singapore operations. Review and maintain insurance renewals, ensuring all records are up-to-date. Contribute to the budgeting process, preparing budgets and forecasts as needed. What We’re Looking For: Experience in Management Accounting, preferably within financial services. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of double entry accounting. Experience with Sage is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and common-sense approach to problem-solving. Why Work for us?
